The BM-1 Tender is designed for a warm, jazzy “southern” sound. Tender Mamas produce a gentle, rounded articulation and are perfect when a subtle, mellow tone is needed. This isn’t your typical “soft” mallet – it’s simply the softer one of the three, and still performs reliably across all dynamic levels. It also works beautifully as a bass mallet, adding a touch of extra fundament in combination with the BM-2.
